Welcome! We offer a warm welcome to you to join us in worship and in other Church activities.
Our aim is to be an inclusive Christian community, with a deep commitment to justice and peace, which affirms and values everyone.

Services are held each Sunday at 10.30 am and at 6.30 pm. Morning services, and a monthly alternative afternoon service, are held at the Scotforth Road church, which is on the A6 to the south of the city centre.  Evening services - and occasional alternative services -  are held at The Cornerstone, our Sulyard Street premises, in the city centre (click on the links for maps or see below for full addresses). For more details of our worship services  please go to the Worship page or the weekly notices (the next notices will be on 11th January 2009 and will be downloadable from here).

"Singing our Faith?": on January 18th 2009 morning worship will be led by Revd Dr Andrew Pratt, the well-known hymn-writer and a member of the Methodist Church's Music Resources Group. In the afternoon Dr Pratt will lead a discussion on the proposed new Methodist hymn collection - the draft contents are now available and public consultation will be open until January 31st.

Please send any contributions for the weekly notices by 5 pm on Thursday to Church Notices Email (the link for downloading copies is at the end of the first paragraph on this page).

We are developing a 'Fresh Expression' of church at The Cornerstone in the city centre, seeking to serve the needs of the city and to find new ways to share the gospel. More information will be found on the Fresh Expressions page of this site.

Our minister can be contacted by telephone (01524 32717) or email (Minister).
